Paint, Evanescence, Relationships, Etc.

This is a banner I've been working on, (or at least a sample). It's still in rough form, but I had fun trimming out the rest of the background. Evanescence is one of my favorite bands, so it seemed natural to pay tribute to them. I incorporated my own lines "Kissing Crows, 'Cause Anything Goes," with lyrics from one of their older works, "Anything For You." The finished product -

"Kissing Crows
'Cause Anything Goes,
I'll Believe, all your Lies,
Just Pretend You Love Me."

- melancholic, yes, but honest. Many people find themselves in such a situation. The best part, though, is that there's always hope, even when it's hard to see.

Note About the Picture in the Title Bar

The picture that is used in the title bar of this blog is a photo that I took when we had this big freeze. Everything was covered in ice, and it was pretty cool.
